Oh... one more thing...

I've been meaning to say this- but if you know someone who was reading the blog before I made it private and they want to still, let me know so I can add their e-mail address to the list of readers. Turns out I found out some people were reading the blog and I didn't know it, so I didn't know to send them an e-mail inviting them to read it now! I think it's smart to leave it private with all the pictures of Lola and not to mention how open I am being at the moment. :) If it was public, I would have to tone it down a bit, or a lot. Lol.

Reporting In...

The big answer to that is... NO! LOL. The doctor appointment went great, but another two weeks of waiting so this treatment he did today can hopefully heal it 100%. Everything was a lot better than two weeks ago and so no surgery. A huge thanks to the stranger who suggested this route on an online forum. It's the main reason I got a second opinion because she thought it was granulated tissue that could be healed through silver nitrate applications and she was correct! Yay! Thanks to those who prayed for me too! Power of prayer works even when it's someone's cookie jar being prayed for. On a side note: Please pray that God clearly opens and shuts doors for us right now. (Thanks to Joi- I have a lot of respect and admiration for you.) I take the math certification test on Monday, but am weary of teaching now. I feel like the best option may be to work for my dad as the Unit Training Coordinator over the 3 stores. I know that working for family can be tricky, but in my situation I always felt like I was honoring God and my father through working at CFA. And honestly that's the one door that has been wide open for awhile. Maybe God is given me other doors so He can intentionally shut them so I see that there's still only one way to go and it's the right way for us right now. I didn't want to do CFA because it was my only option, so now I may choose it knowing that I did, indeed, choose to work there. Does that make sense?

Well little Lola has been so constipated today. She's 10 weeks now and on a new formula (Enfamil AR) which is thicker to help her not spit up as much. Unfortunately it's making it extremely hard to poop. She woke up at 8:15 a.m. screaming and I worked with her for at least half an hour to try and help her. After that she slept for 4 more hours. :( Then when I went to the doctor I dropped her off at Nonna's... she cried for 45 minutes. Bless her hurt... it looked like it hurt bad. So the doctor has me giving her Gerber Apple Prune Juice to help her out some. I hope it helps. Poor thing. I hate to see those painful little faces she makes.

Well I am ready to get comfy now and need to do a load of laundry.

Well the doctor visit was a good one. No surgery! He did another treatment of the silver nitrate. He said it seemed a lot better but there was still one area that needed more treatment. If in two weeks I am still hurting some, then I have to go back, but he had high hopes that in two weeks I would feel good as new. He said wait two more weeks to work out and do other things that married people do... but I don't think I'll be reporting in on that in two weeks. :) Or maybe I will! Haha.

Doctor Appointment Today!

Definitely nervous and anxious to see what the doctor has to say today! I feel like things are definitely better, so hopefully no more treatments and I would be shocked if I needed surgery at this point. I think my friends have really been saying a few prayers for my cookie jar! :) Thanks you guys. Well I will let everyone know what the doctor says!

More Pictures, Less Talk...

Well, I am about to eat with Clay, yet I wanted to share some pictures real quick. I'll put as many as I can download before we go! You've heard enough from me lately...

But one thing before picture time... I know... blah, blah, blah.

Clay and I challenged ourselves to not eat out for an entire month unless someone else was treating us. This wasn't a health challenge, but rather a money challenge. We normally spend around $225 on fast food and restaurants. But in the month challenge- we only spent $20! Pretty neat- huh? And it wasn't even that hard... although we asked my parents to go to Tino's with us a few times... and they were very kind to treat us every time! And the twenty was spent on Starbucks while we were on vacation and Chan's. :)

Doctor Appointment: 2 Month Shots- I gave Lola fair warning and sugar water!

I thought she looked so cute on the table and so long... 2 feet to be exact!
She was being such a good girl! She loved laying on the noisy paper!

I put a blanket on her because it was a little chilly and she looked like she was in a hospital bed, so I snapped a shot!

Shots are over and back in the car. She did pretty good. And so did I.
She is looking at me like "why the crap did you take me to that doctor appointment again?"



One minute after the look. Dead asleep. Those stinkin' shots wore her out.

Bless her little thighs.
Three pricks and she had to take one vaccination orally.
Is that how you spell that? It looks strange.
And why didn't they have cuter band aids? Next time I'll bring her cute ones!

At home, back in pajamas and in for the rest of the day. She was a tad fussy and feverish so Tylenol was her best friend over the next day. All night she moaned in her sleep. It was so sad and I didn't get any sleep because I felt bad for her. Bless her heart.
