A little late, I know. But it was a nice day. Kebby, Nick, Clay and I had a competitive Easter Egg hunt since mom had made paper machete eggs with surprises in them! I am definitely a mom, because Clay and I huddled together to come up with a strategy so I could take pictures of Lola hunting her candy filled eggs, yet we could still dominate as a couple! Oh and we did! Although somehow Clay ended up with all the goodies in the eggs and I just ended up with these pictures of Lola! ;)
Mom and Dad go hide the eggs!
And Lola says “Isn’t it time already??”
We are all waiting…
Enough kisses- time for egg hunting! Lola catches on quickly.
Hmmm. She starts looking in the eggs as she collects them.
Nick finds the adult egg! Hahahaha…
Clay is on the hunt too… He’s already got several!
Lola is starting to get excited!
Lola is looking in better places than Ba thought to hide them! She needed more of a challenge! Hehehe…
That’s a big basket of eggs!
Thank goodness Nonna finally got a good camera!
Lola realizes some of her eggs have a little money too! Man- even at 2 money is exciting!
I found one egg despite taking all the pictures!
Boys got T-Shirts!
Lola got fun surprises too!
Trying to get Lola to like band-aids, but she doesn’t seem convinced they are cool.
Since we are working so hard on sleeping habits we quickly wrapped up things and headed home to put Lola down (plus she was a little under the weather that day) and we had the biggest melt down of all meltdowns in the car. She would not get in her car seat, she wanted Nonna, and it was horrible. We had to pull over and let her out of the car to cool down and recompose and got back in the car and she got so upset again and it took Clay and I both to get her buckled in and once we did she finally calmed down and this happened…
We have never been late on a nap again. That was a nightmare. If Clay wasn’t in the car, I would have bawled too.
We had a great Easter Sunday. Being with my brother and sister makes me so badly want to give Lola a little one too. She’s going to be a great big sister one day.
