Lake House 2011

It always feels officially like summer has begun with the first real warm lake house trip of the year and that was this weekend!  Yay!  Unfortunately Lola was sick, which didn’t affect her much during the day besides eating less and being glued to Nonna, but at night she ran fever and after 4 nights  of it (the 4th night being at the lake!) I was exhausted (which really Nonna should have been as well) so we left late Saturday night to make nighttime easier.  Lola woke up again!  Er, but actually had very little fever and just wanted to eat, watch Sesame Street and then went back down.  Thankfully.  So much easier when you are at your own home with things like that.  But thanks to Nonna for taking care of Lola even though you had no choice ;)  You’ve created a monster! Bauhahahaha.

Anyways, the lake was fun and we have pictures to proof it thanks to Nick!  I was hanging out on the dock and here comes Nick in his bathing suit with my camera around his neck and a goofy look.  I was quite worried why he had my camera and what he had been up to, but he just wanted to do some family photo shoots!  Haha- we had a great time and I realized quickly how white I really am.  :(

Nonna and Lola love making pies and the boys sure loves that they do!   Lola is the “pincher.”

My sister and I look like lesbians here… hahaha… and this is us not drinking!  Why are we so goofy when we all get together!?!  Notice Clay is not lurking around?? He only can handle us for so long I think… He’s actually laying out in the grass!
