How did we go from this…
Dating without a care in the world… except each other, what excuse to tell the professor for 4 weeks of missed classes, in Clay’s case a house fire, which I can finally laugh about, and what color to paint my apartment walls next…
To this…
Tying the knot… I day I remember in bits and pieces, for instances, during Randy’s prayer I remember peeking at the flower arrangements and think mom rocked those. They were beautiful. I remember my pearl earrings Clay gave me, and I remember wanting to leave 20 minutes after getting to the reception…
and a great honeymoon, which I dream of going back to Aruba one day with Clay now that we are pros… at being married…
To this…
Super pregnant living in a cute, cozy home. One week before Lola’s arrival…
And then…
Two weeks after previous picture- my little one week old baby, daddy working hard at his new job, and me kicking right into gear being a mom…
AND JUST FOUR MONTHS LATER…
A vibrant and playful, chubby cheeked Lola Lou who adores me and daddy, loves to talk and sing, is a daredevil, and likes more food than I do already…
Wow. God has a way of leaving me speechless and in awe. This is what I have lived for. I want to always remember this. It’s amazing.
So I was suppose to go to bed two hours ago, but I started looking at old pictures and then baby pictures of Lola as a newborn and can’t believe how much my life has changed in five years. From starting my first year at college to meeting Clay the summer before my second year of college, to graduating, teaching for a semester, marriage, pregnant, baby, and now a baby that can sit up, giggle, and reach for Chick-fil-A Sweet Tea! Crazy.

Lola is getting to be such a big girl- soon the girls will be on the same level! now THAT is crazy! haha!
You know she's on the right track when she reaches for the CFA sweet tea! :) She's a doll and I'm ready to see her in person.
